The Twitter latest version 4.2 features a number of much needed updates, mainly centered around the improving of the user’s ability to search the service as well as implementing a number of user interface changes. The official iOS release notes offer the following guidance:

Updated design and improved relevance of discover stories.
Activity in Discover section shows the people your connections follow and which tweets they retweet and follow.
Spelling suggestions and related searches for search results in the discover tab.
Username autocomplete and go-to-user when searching in Connect tab.
Push notification options for when a tweet has been retweeted, favorited or when you receive new followers.
Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Polish and Norwegian language support.
