Google is trying to launch its own music service by 25 December, if the latest reports from analysts are on the money.
Reuters analysts say that Google’s VP of Engineering Andy Rubin has been liasing with record labels, discussing the possible music service in order to pave the way for deals to support a launch of ther new service “before Christmas”. Reuters cites two industry insiders as the source for this juicy info, while an anonymous record label exec has spoken out in favour of Google Music’s chances
