Unveiled yesterday at the ongoing International CTIA Wireless 2010 trade show in Las Vegas, the Zio M6000 is Kyocera’s first Android handset. It runs on CDMA2000 1x EVDO rev A network, has Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth connectivity. Other specs include 256MB of internal memory, 32GB of additional memory via microSD card, a high resolution 3.5-inch WVGA (800 x 480 p) touchscreen display, 3.2MP camera with 30fps video recording capability, 3.5 mm audio jack, Google maps, GPS, full HTML web browser, several widgets and applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Open Table in Android Market.
Coming with a size of 116mm x 58.6mm x 12.2mm and weight of 105 g, it claims up to 6 hours of talk time and 18 days on standby.
No word on pricing but Kyocera plans to launch it in Q2 of this year.
