Step 2: Connect your iPad 2 or iPhone 4S to your Mac or Windows computer using a USB cable and launch the Absinthe tool and you will be presented with a GUI

Step 3: You will notice a button on the right hand side of the Absinthe program which says ‘Jailbreak’. Once your device is connected, click that button to begin the process. What looks like a restore will begin on your device with the words ‘Restoring in Progress’ being present. Please do not touch the device, the process can be quite time consuming.

Step 4: Once the restore is completed, unlock your iPhone / iPad and look for the ‘Absinthe’ icon which will now be located on your device’s Springboard. Tapping the icon will momentarily launch the GreenPois0n website, before causing your device to reboot. After the reboot is completed, the aforementioned Absinthe icon will now be replaced by a beautiful brown Cydia one.

Step 5: The steps are all over. Your device is booted into a jailbroken state. You can now launch Cydia and follow through the process of setting up your favorite tweaks and extensions.

As you can see, the process has been made as simple as possible using this new powerful tool. The steps ands relatively easy and there isn’t much work involved, but remember to make that important back up.

2. Install OpenSSH from Cydia on your iPad 4.3.1.

3. Now download Cyberduck SFTP client for Mac OS X

4. SSH in to your iPad using Cyberduck and navigate for following directory

system/library/coreservices/springboard.app/

5. Download the K48AP.plist file to your mac desktop.

6. Now open K48AP.plist file in plist editor

7. Add following Boolean variable to file

display-mirroring boolean YES

8. Save the file and upload to iPad

9. Restart iPad

10. That’s it now enjoy video mirroring on your iPad with Apple AVI adapter.

2. Download & Install iTunes 10.2

3. Download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9

4. Start iTunes and Update iPad to iOS 4.3.1

5. Once you complete update process, start Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 and click on browse and select 4.3.1 firmware file for iPad,

6. Now click on Next and let Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 prepare data for jailbreak.

7. Once Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 completes preparing jailbreak data, a screen with set of options will be provided.

8. Now select “Install Cydia” and click Next.

9. Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 will ask you to turn off your iPad and connect to PC/Mac, click on next once you connect iPad to computer

10. At this stage Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc9 will ask you to put your iPad in DFU mode, follow on screen instructions to do this

1. Hold “Power” button and then while holding the “Power” button, you will now have to hold “Home” button too for about 10 seconds.

2. Now after few seconds release “Power” button but keep holding “Home” button until installation begins (about 30 seconds).

11. Now just wait until Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc9 completes the rest of the process. Once done, your iPad will restart automatically.

2. Download iOS 4.3 for iPhone 4 & iPhone 3GS

3. Download iTunes 10.2

4. Start Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 iOS 4.3 Jailbreak tool.

5. Click on Blue next arrow and select “Yes” on (Are you serious sure you want to do this ? ) dialogue box.

6. Now you may drag or use browse button to select iOS 4.3 IPSW file.

7. Let Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 verify IPSW.

8. Once Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 completes verifying IPSW process click on next arrow and select Simple mode or Export mode.

(If you rely in carrier unlock then only proceed for baseband preservation mode, keep in mind in order to unlock you must be on following baseband to make real use of preserve baseband mode).

9. At this stage Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 will provide options to customize firmware , click on Build IPSW . & Click on blue next arrow to start custom iOS 4.3 firmware building process.

10. The firmware building process will take some time mean while you may select play Pacman to make use of your time.

11. Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 will display done message upon successful completion of custom iOS 4.3 firmware building process.

12. Click on Ok button and follow on screen instructions.

13. At this stage Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 DFU Pwner will ask you to connect your iPhone 4,3GS to PC & turn it off and put it in DFU mode. Click on Start button & follow on screen instructions on how to enter into DFU Mode.

Press Home and Power button for 10 Sec.

Release Power Button while keep holding Home button for 15 Sec.

14. Once Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 detects iPhone in DFU mode it will start injecting Limera1n to enter into PWENED DFU mode.

15 Snw0breeze 2.3b1 will display message once your iPhone 4, 3GS is in Pwned DFU mode.

16. Now start your iTunes 10.2 to custom firmware.

17. Press Shift+Restore to restore custom iOS 4.3 firmware on iPhone 4, 3GS.

Step 2: Now start iPhone Configuration Utility, click on “Applications” found on the left and then open iMovie (which can be found under iTunes / Mobile Applications)

Step 3: Now connect first-gen iPad via USB cable and select your iPad listed under “Devices”.

Step 4: Now select the “Applications” tab and hit the “Install” button to install iMovie 1.2 on your iPad.

2. Open Xcode & click on iPad Icon in sidebar.

3. In this new window, click on “Use for Development”, log in with your Apple developer credentials and wait for Xcode to verify the device with Apple’s servers

4. Once the procedure is done and the icon next to the iPad is green, close Xcode and kill the Settings app on your iPad from the multitasking tray. (You can do so by opening the tray with double click on the Home button and perform a tap & hold on the Settings app icon. Tap on the red button to quit the app)

That’s it, you have successfully activated multitouch gestures on your iPad iOS 4.3. You can reveal multitasking tray with a 4-5 finger swipe up, switch between apps and return to the home screen with a 4-5 finger pinch gesture.
