James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game is the video game adaptation of James Cameron’s film of the same name. The title is developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It was announced by Ubisoft that it will be using the same technology as the film to be displayed in stereoscopic 3D.

Super Street Fighter IV is the follow up/sequel to Street Fighter IV. The game was first accidentally revealed when the German version of GamePro magazine took pictures of producer Yoshinori Ono with the game visible on a TV behind him as well as a poster showing a bit of the new logo.

Capcom officially hinted at the game when they opened a teaser site on their official Japanese website. This new trailer, unlike Street Fighter IV trailers which featured sumi-e stylized graphics, features a style that resembles line-art graphics, as a reference to the way the conceptual artwork for Super Street Fighter II characters was introduced.

Then on September 28, 2009, Super Street Fighter IV was officially announced to be scheduled for a spring 2010 release, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Having been deemed as too large an update to be deployed as DLC, the game was made into a stand-alone title, but is intended to carry a price tag lower than that of a full retail game. Capcom also hinted at bonus features for people who already own Street Fighter IV.

The game is planned to feature eight additional characters, as well as tweaks and changes to the existing ones, such as new ultra combos. Among the added characters are T. Hawk and Dee Jay, who were initially intended to be in the original Street Fighter IV but later dropped. Also revealed was Juri, an all new character. A Korean Tae Kwon Do fighter, Juri works as a spy for Seth’s organization, S.I.N., and has a ki-boosting device implanted into her left eye, called the “Feng Shui Engine”.

Dante’s Inferno will take gamers to the western world’s most definitive view of the afterlife as created in the 13th century by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri in part one of his epic classic, “The Divine Comedy.”

Dante’s Inferno tells an adapted story that focuses on delivering a blockbuster 3rd person action game experience while bringing Alighieri’s depiction of Hell to the medium. Players assume the role of Dante, who descends into Hell after returning home to find his beloved Beatrice murdered, with Lucifer seducing her soul into the underworld. Dante sets out on a rescue mission to save Beatrice, but he soon realizes he is also in Hell to face his own demons and ultimately to redeem himself.

Players will take Dante through nine unique circles of Hell as mapped out and described by Alighieri: limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery. Each circle will showcase its own distinct look, with demons, monsters, damned and geography that are crafted straight from the poem’s vivid descriptions.
